Mediocre cutter quality
Guessing if you are reading this you already know you'll need this larger sized cutter for Flashshield CSST - which is why I purchased it. Had another brand cutter that was specified up to 1.25" but the FlashShield jacket is significantly larger and that cutter would not cut through.
The actual tool (cutter) itself is nice, however after 10 or so cuts the cut-wheel had a noticable dimple and I had to change it. it also never did a 100% clean cut and always need to "jiggle" the end off.
I would expect a cut-wheel to go hundreds of cuts before needing to be changed.
Did speak with Gastite customer service (who are very good and attentive) and they sent me out a replacement - have not had the opportunity to use the new wheel, so i can't comment on weather it was just a defective wheel or the part quality.
