It solved the problem and got the heat back on.
My only complaint about the control board is the price. I pay less than that for a cell phone and the last refurbished computer I bought so I have to wonder if the price for a board is so bad because it's a necessity. We do what we need to do though.
I've been fighting with that furnace for a year and ruled out all the other potential causes for the furnace not working. Replacing the board was simple and solved the problem. Just take a few pictures to make sure you get the wires plugged in where they need to be and swap it out.
