Worked in my 125 vold circuit....

Bought this as an exact replacement for the 230 volt pump that failed after 15 years in service in my home. Installed the new pump and it worked fine. Found that the original pump failed with a fire under the electical cover - so decided to replace the new pump with a 125 volt unit the same as another zone pump in the system. Keeping the 230 volt pump as a backup to use when the next failure occurs. Overnight delivery of the 230V pump worked as advertised but was too ecpensive.

Q: I have this model on my hot water heating system and it is wired for 110 volt. Can this model UPS 1542F be wired for 110 volt as well as 230 volt? Or is there another model for my system?

You could likely wire the pump for 110 volts using proper transformers and electrical equipment. You could consider a UP15-42F (part 59896155). This 115-volt's lone speed falls between Speed 1 and Speed 2 of the UPS15-42F. The UPS15-58FC (part 59896341) is a 115-volt, 3-speed pump that is very similar to the UPS15-42F.

You can use a 230 volt pump, but it would likely be much more difficult to supply it with power.
