good shallow well pump
Pump works well
Works more quietly and with less vibration than the one I am replacing.
Easy install and startup.
Biggest difficulty I had was with vibration isolators
I had a difficult time finding vibration isolators on Supply house web site - even after talking to a customer service agent.
I ended up reusing existing 20 year old isolators.
Stumbled across the isolators I would have wanted a couple of days ago when looking at heat pump hardware.
Seems like a training opportunity for customer support team.

GREAT FOR CISTERNS
THIS IS A GREAT PUMP FOR USE IN HIGH SALT CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT.IE: NEAR THE OCEAN OR WITH CISTERNS FILLED WITH DESALINATED WATER SANITIZED WITH BLEACH. A BIT NOISY. DIDN'T NOTICE THAT MUCH NOISE WITH THE LAST ONES-LASTED 15 YEARS.

Great little pumps that last a long time
I depend on this pump for water to my home and other buildings. These pumps last for years and can be repaired repeatedly if you can find the parts.
This pump was listed as a direct replacement for the now obsolete JPS4-A, and it is with one exception. The old pump connected to the piping with male fittings and this pump has female fittings. Not a big deal if you happen to have a couple 1" close nipples on hand.

Hope this Grundfos last long as last one
This is a replacement for my previous Grundfos that was online for many years with very bad water (lots of minerals) running through it. I replaced with same kind because of the good service it provided.
The only complaint that I have is: the label on top of the pump said "factory wired for 230V" but in fact was actually set as 115V. Changed that and new pump working like a champ.

This is the second one I've bought. I thought the first was going out after 4years of extreme duty in a hard, sometimes silty water well. Turns out the original was just fine, now I've got a spare ready to use...someday.

Nice Upgrade from Grundfos
The Grundfos replacement for the JB100 series that I use for cistern water boost.
Significant upgrades to the motor, and impeller to shaft attachment - which was the most vulnerable issue to corrosion w/JB100 series. This made welding up and machining of the shaft necessary to rebuild on the older models.
Newer motor draws less current and runs cooler.

Q: your sheet say shut of head 200 feet ,will it really pull water from 200 feet deep well?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe shut off heard of 200 ft means boost pressure, not suction lift. The maximum lift is only 25 ft, so that would be the depth of pulling water from the well.

Unfortunately, I don't recall. I do remember that the motor was a much improved newer design / significantly more efficient (less current draw/less heat) than its' predecessor from 1999-2004 era. t

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffJP4-61ASI (sku# 97855088) is the same as JP10S-SS. There are other Grundfos Jet Pump models that begin with "JP10" (i.e. JP10S-CI) so be sure to verify the full model number!
