Great practice rod
It's a little more difficult than 15%, which makes it great for practicing and training. I would not use it on an HVAC system. But it is great for teaching and brazing practice because of its affordability.

I am surprised how well this works.
I brazed few joints with this and its kind of hard for me to tell the difference between 15% and this product.
I am very happy with it.

Worth for you to give it a try
I bought this 28 sticks and try it out. Blazing copper pipes 1/2, 3/4, 7/8" HVAC. I used this rod which needs 1350F, it's higher temperature than 15% rod 1190F. However the cost per rod only 50 cent. I am satisfied the blazing result. Worth for you to give it a try.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Brando! The product line is named "Quicksilver". However, this is a PhosCopper brazing alloy which is made up of 7.2% phosphorus, remainder is copper, and .15% is "other". It is primarily used to braze copper to copper. It can also be used to braze copper to brass.
