30" x 6" White Baseboard Return Air Grille (658 Series)

I had tried multiple off-the-shelf grilles at the big home improvement stores only to come home and find they didn't fit (despite my measurements being correct), so I turned to the internet and found these. Someone had already posted that these fit their 1950s house so I was hoping they'd fit mine too. Absolutely! I only ordered 1 box to ensure they fit but now I need to go and count the remaining grilles that need to be replaced in the house so I can place another order! I love that these are clean and not painted over 832 times like everything else in my house! Hahaha

I needed several unique vents and registers for a remodel of a 55 year old house we recently acquired and I was very excited to find all my needs at this site. The 14 inch version of this style that I ordered fit perfectly, but this one was clearly mis-cut at the factory as the rear/vertical section was ~3/8 inch too short and resulted in the same amount of gap against the floor when installed (especially noticeable since there is hard wood floors). I contacted customer service, who promptly sent a replacement along with a RMA. Unfortunately the 2nd one had the exact same issue. I sent several photos and measurements to their product support who then confirmed all the current stock had the same issue. Per their request, both vents were returned for a refund. My biggest concern is the website still shows these being in stock and I can only hope the current stock gets purged until good replacements are made available. With the limited options for this style vent, the only other one I could find was a 1/2 inch narrower, which will require some additional trim and or drywall repair to properly cover.
