Media Air Cleaner
I installed the Media Air Cleaner on a recently installed replacement furnace. Fairly easy install, although I needed to modify the return air ductwork because of the width. It has a easy to open door that has a foam gasket. The replacement filters are readily available.

Huge design flaw...no wonder it flows so well...buyer beware
I just received this product and noticed a major issue and I won't be using this item. There is a huge leak path between the access door and the edge of the filter. The foam strips do not cover this and the half inch gap on either side of the filter is clearly noticeable in most images. Basically, there is probably about a 10 square inch area of leakage around the edge of the filter. Adding foam to the door probably won't help because the edge of the filter cannot offer any support against the foam and will just collapse inward. My previous 20x25x4 filter cabinet included a small plastic carriage that would go around the cardboard of the filter and provide a leak free fit in the enclosure. This thing is a piece of garbage and you will not be getting MERV 11 filtration with this thing. I hope I can return it and get something better. I'm sure most installers don't notice this or don't really care, but this is for my own home so I want it to filter correctly. Maybe my assembly is missing something, but this is unacceptable as it cannot do its primary purpose of filtration with such a huge leak path.

Great product and reasonably priced.
The filter cabinet was good and sturdy and made installation easy. The magnetic filter door removes easily allowing quick filter removal. I would recommend this product. Replacement filters are also not to expensive.

Install this on the side of the furnace and the performance is is above and beyond a 1" thick filter. Replacing filters is a piece of cake.

Filters most of the air, but not all.
There's a big 1/2" gap 20" long between the front door and the side of the filter allowing air to go right around the filter. I can fix it, but I bought one so I didn't have to make one. This is ridiculous for a brand name frame.

I was not expecting to get a Duct Mount Air Cleaner...all I wanted was a filter but am stuck with the cleaner because we had already installed the filter so we couldn't return the cleaner. I am disappointed about that and don't know what to do with it. Otherwise I guess the filter is working...I haven't checked it yet.

The first measurement should be the "height" the filter, I suppose it depends on how you look at it. Supply House provides the link to the "User Guide" on the "Overview" tab. The User Guide provides all the dimensions of the unit.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou will need to replace the filters at least once a year. The manufacturer recommends that you do it every 6 months (once before heating season and once before cooling season). If you are using an atomizing humidifier, you may need to replace the filters more often.
