Wonderful control for hydronic heat
One of the best out there. First off comes with a floor sensor, which is a great choice for certain conditions, such as a concrete slab or high mass gypcrete floor. Another useful purpose for the floor sensor could be when you are using supplemental heat such as a wood stove placed in proximity to the thermostat. The wood stove will stop a call for heat to the rest of the house that is not being heated by the stove, if you only have the thermostat sensing air temperature in that situation . You could place the sensor in another area that would still tell the boiler to keep everything else warm without zoning. This unit can work off air or floor heat temperature. One of my favorite features is the number of heat cycles allowed per hour can be set between 1 and 12. Even better you can set how long the cycles last up to 15 minutes. Your boiler will fire for that set time no matter what. Say goodbye to short cycle on your combi boiler or any boiler for that matter. Now this may be uncomfortable for some super insulted spaces so your milage may vary. There is only one con to the T6. There is the typical audible click of a cheep thermostat when calling or ending the heat cycle. This is normal, but this noise can be eliminated by having a different set up. They should add an expansion module to the T series that places the relays somewhere else of your choosing and turn the display panel into nothing but the timer, temperature sensor and control interface. The click is loud and and annoying. All and all, my favorite non WiFi thermostat. And, no app garbage to put up with that the latest update gives you the pleasure of no jeat. Besides,the Internet has no reason to know my thermostat choices. Read the manual and enjoy. Simple to install. Will accept 24v AC for constant display power so the batterys become a backup. 3 or 4 wires are best. My boiler has a dedicated 24 v out so I wired R,W to T1 and used 2 other conductors for 24v. Floor sensor has its own terminals.

Product works, customer service doesn't
The thermostat itself works fine, and does what thermostats are supposed to do. Their customer service (after waiting on hold for almost an hour), is utterly useless.

So far, hopefully no need to replace it, but yes.
Easy to replace the Tekmar521 that failed within 2 years. Having a battery makes it a better choice. Love seeing the room temp at a simple glance. Easy to set up using existing floor thermostat wires. Better price also.

I would buy it again.
I use this for my in-floor heating system. Works great! Easy set up and within 1-2 degrees Fahrenheit of my other thermostats. The face plate could be a little smaller in my opinion.
I do not use the floor sensor, but I can see it being a plus if someone uses a fireplace as additional heat source on a semi regular basis.

This product replaced an old mercury round honeywell unit and was controlling my radiant floor zone. The new T-6 has eliminated the temp swings that I was experiencing. It has a floor sensor which I did install and it just works.

Great for my concrete radiant floor
Useed on an addition on a slab with hydronic radiant heat in the floor. I was concerned with the slab over-shooting the set room temp. Since this thermostat monitors both the slab and air temp, i am able to control the zone using both sensors.

The Thermostat works exceptionaly well
