Perfect item to replace the old temperature switch. The adjustment for the to set the box at a 3.5 degree swing is just right. The temperature prob was just the right length to reach the fan 3' from the switch with about 1 left over

heat tape control
this control is used in our near-arctic environment to provide heat tape protection of above ground outside water lines in the winter. Any type of tape can be used with this control. The heat tape is switched on and off as per outside temperatures. This control is very reliable and solves frozen water line problems.

Good value refrigeration control
I am using this to control the temperature on my beer dispenser. It replaced a much more expensive Ranco electronic digital control that went defective after only a couple years of operation. It works very well and has a versatile SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch. Wiring was easy and can be from top or bottom. The only drawback compared to my old unit is that the tube connecting the sensor bulb isn't as flexible as a wire.

All it does is open or close a circuit based on set temp. So long as your rv fridge is as simple as flipping a switch then it will work just fine. I used it along with a deep freezer to keep my beer at the right temp while fermenting/lagering
