Great if you don't wanna run wires
Purchased this thermostat for a family member who wanted their thermostat moved to a different location and also needed two stage control for their new furnace. Was much easier then running a new wire, also there is no switching at the thermostat itself so that's a plus, that it's quiet.
Thermostat is very easy to install, there is a thermostat and an EIM (Equipment Interface Module) that you install down by the furnace and wire it in there. Thermostat itself goes wherever you'd like it.
Setup is very simple, just follow a few easy steps to pair the EIM with the thermostat and your set! All you gotta do from there is run through the installer set up. I recommend 3 CPH for most gas furnaces, high and low efficiency.
Also connecting the wires to the EIM is incredibly easy, no screws! Just simple push terminals.

Would not but this again
After turning turning power off to furnace and back on the thermostat would not reconnect on the same day of install. Thermostat stated no signal. Sending unit said connecting after hitting the connect button.
There is no way to reset the thermostat. Sending back for a refund.

Exactly what we needed
We used 7 of these in a pristine antique home. There was no getting to certain areas. These work perfectly with no issues on all 5 systems.

Perfect for my area
Many furnace installers in my area were cheap and only run 2 wires to the stats. This wireless setup gives customers the use of the furnace fan to circulate air made by a wood stove, gas fireplace etc

Worked great.
