373 Brush Top Adhesive (1 Pint)

This glue is really good stuff for making custom fitting out of any kflex tube insulation. There is a certain way you must use it for optimum results and fast set time. First, LIGHTLY coat both joints on whatever tubing your gluing up. This seals the ends basically. Let flash dry until joints on both looks dried. No rush plenty of time to coat both joints slowly 1-5 minutes.... (I let one set for 10 mins and still worked great).. Once flash dry apply a second coat slightly heavier just more than first coat but not big globs of it. It don't take much.. Then Let flash dry again. Now this, is the tricky part, the joining. Real shop talk, If you go to sticking the joints together like your gluing up sch 40 pipe then your going to mess up and tear up your tubing trying to pry it apart. Because once it sticks it's stuck for LIFE. So, slowly start the joints together at a angle using both hands making a rolling motion all while keeping everything indexed properly. So, as you roll them together watch your outer edges as they touch mainly this will help keep you lined up and putting out nice looking custom glue ups for those hard weird angles.

This glue is 6 years out of date. I tried buying it locally at HD and same date code on all cans. The Mfg must have made one big lot all at once and is still trying to sell them all, that's all i can figure. It is advertised as black or grey as opposed to the yellow version also available. However, no matter how long I shook and mixed the can it was an off green color. All that said I used it anyway and it seems to work. Appears no different than generic readily available contact cement. I just want to use the genuine stuff to make sure id did not eat the foam i was using. I don't hold this against Supplyhouse as it seems this is all that is available anywhere.

I used this product to insulate well pipe in crawlspace. It was easy to install and end result looks good. When you apply this product make sure everything is clean and dry. If you do not ,then you will have problems later on.
