Condensate pump

I have it installed not in service yet, but tested it and it is so quiet and pumps out properly. No contact for high level.

2nd bad switch on 3rd

the water level switch is flawed and continues to fail after about 2 years. As the other guy stated, you will become to familiar with how this pump works. Too bad Little Giant doesn't hold their switch contractor accountable to redesign the switch and make an overall good pump worth buying.

I have to buy 1 every 2 years

Supply House is an excellent place to buy from. It's not their fault that these fail either. I'm going to try and clean the tank and float on a regular basis, might just be the problem.

Pump Replacement

The old pump quit working. Supply House had a replacement in stock and shipped it out super fast. It's great dealing with a reliable company every time. Greatly appreciated.

I would buy this item again but...

When I moved into my home 2003, the original Condensate Removal pump was already installed and working perfectly. So if you do the math, it has lasted 21 years without any problems. This year after having a tune-up on my air conditioner, I noticed the pump was not draining properly. Using the product number and to my surprise this item was still available through Supply House. The cost was relatively low, shipping was fast and since installation the pump has provided the service I expected.

Q: Is it hard to replace this pump, can I do it myself or do I have to hire a professional

I guess the difficulty of replacement depends on where your current pump is. Mine is used to catch the excess water from my furnace humidifier, which it then pumps over my basement washbasin; it’s mounted externally to my furnace just with two screws and takes only seconds to replace (assuming I keep the existing tubing into and out of the old one).

Very easy. Just have a screwdriver, and a few minutes patience. Sent from my iPhone

Q: hello, we have had this pump for almost 5 years hooked to a brand new gas furnace and central air unit. We noticed this week that there is water over flowing onto the floor the pump is running but does not seem to be pumping the water out into the drain hose. are there any suggestion for troubleshooting this problem?

We would recommend that you start by ensuring that the unit and its lines are not clogged at all.
