Pump works fine but the reservoir is always half full.
This pump works great for it purpose. However what I do not like is that the 1/2 gallon reservoir is always half full. The pump motor does not kick in until it is Completely full and then only runs until it is only half empty. Seems odd and I do not see any adjustment, and yes it is level. I will use a different pump from now on.

Nice kit
I've bought these condensate pockets a few times from Supply house and they work great. The pump is quiet and powerful, the vinyl tubing is perfect to reach most destinations to get condensate pump either outside or into a drain.

Q: Is it normal for the motor to run if the AC unit is not working. It does cut off when the whole unit is turned off. The condensate is about 1/2 in from the top of the tank but not cycling? Is it a way to manually cycle the pump to assure the check valve is not stuck?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffNo that does not sound normal. It is an automatic pump, so you should just fill it with water. Depending on how the safety switch is wired a technician may need to check the unit to make sure it is operating accordingly.
