Seems to be a simple easy install protector
Installed this product on my furnace and fan unit after a storm that took out my AC fan and circuit board. Its protected now. The LED light is an extra bonus to see it is in the right function.

A very smart purchase
I was losing control boards, even though they had the three amp fuse and wondering why. We have an area in Spring Creek Nevada that has irregular power surges and very old base transformers. I recommend people utilize a search protector on any of their HVAC equipment as extra precaution to save a lot of heartache And money
