Installed and Working
My husband installed this and it is working - heat or cool - we are solar-powered exclusively, no grid, and this works great. Primarily got it for air conditioning when the sun shines strongly, but use it some mornings to heat and take the chill off the house. We live at 3800 feet and have big temperature swings. Very happy, hope it lasts a long time.

Problem solved
I bought the DIY dual mini-split for a large bonus room and a small office that are not vented for central AC. To my amazement it has cooled the whole house (2000 sq. feet) in 90+ degree weather. I'm still waiting to see what happens when the temps reach 100, probably next summer sometime considering it's almost Labor Day. Needless to say I am very happy with the product.
