Quality product
The deep sink strainer was needed for a cast iron laundry sink so there would be enough threads exposed to attach the tailpiece. The stainless steel material used should last for many years.

Solved a problem for me.
I used this in an old laundry sink with a 2 inch drain opening. This sink is one inch thick and the other strainers I found could not accommodate the thickness. This strainer fixed the problem for me. So it's a keeper. I bought another strainer for the other sink.
