Overview
The Milwaukee Voltage Detector can be used for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The 2200-20 is a rugged tool with the highest safety rating in the industry, CAT IV 1000V with a wide 50 to 1000 volt AC range. The 2200-20 also has a green light which is lit when battery power is available, to dramatically improve safety on the jobsite. A blinking red light and loud beeper also indicate the presence of voltage. Includes two (2) AAA batteries and instructions; covered by 1 year warranty. Nothing but HEAVY DUTY.

Great voltage detector with good volum
The voltage detector is great, but it is not a replacement for a voltage meter. Everyone should always double check the circuit that you think is not energized with a volt meter prior to conducting a kind of installation or repairs.

Great voltage detector.
The voltage detector is great and the volume is louder than most. I want to remind everyone it is not a substitute for a volt meter. A volt meter should always be used for final verification.

Great for the cost
I like the way this tool operates it's not overly sensitive for when wires could be bunched together but will definitely do the job , I would recommend the model with both high and low voltage testing for any AC or appliance work
