Overview
The industry’s first cordless lithium-ion copper tubing cutter cuts up to 10X faster than conventional cutters. Engineered with plumbers, mechanical contractors and remodelers in mind, this versatile copper tubing cutter runs at 500 RPM for unmatched cutting speed. The M12TM Lithium-Ion Battery and ultra-efficient gearing allow you to make up to 200 cuts on a single charge. The patent-pending cutting mechanism automatically adjusts diameter to cut Type K, L and M copper pipes from 3/8” to 1” ID (OD from 1/2” to 1-1/8”). The unique rotating cutting head cuts installed copper piping with as little as 1-1/2” clearance, and the lightweight, inline design provides a longer reach and reduces wrist strain when you’re working in confined spaces. A built-in LED light illuminates the cutting surface. The metal cutting head is corrosion and rust resistant, and sealed for water protection, while electronic overload protection and unibody construction provide additional durability. An onboard, real-time battery fuel gauge helps you monitor the charge precisely, so there’s less downtime on the job. The kit includes one 12-volt lithium-ion battery, a 30-minute charger and carrying case. A double-battery kit (model 2471-22) is also available.

Been plumbing for 13 years, very handy tool and glad I purchased. It is tricky till you get used to it, when you put the pipe in just bump the trigger till you notice it grabs the pipe, then go for it. Wish it would cut 1-1/4" pipe!!

Thing dang thing would be great but it does NOT cut a 3/8" refrigeration line.... Refrigeration lines are measured by it's outer diameter, this things smallest pipe it can cut is 1/2" OD...
3/8" is the most common liquid line OD.

Hvac beware
doesn't cut 3/8 copper even tho the page says it cuts 1/4 copper pipe I bought it anyway thinking that i would use it anyway but its more convenient to use one Manuel copper cutter than both Manuel and auto for each pipe

tool requires some getting use to, proper position of pipe
while quicker for progressive and repetitive work, most hand cutters work just as well.

worked out very well
While it doesnt replace your conventional tubing cutters, this is a must for any toolbox. I getting up there in years and after a lot of cutting my arm and elbow are sore at the end of the day. This tool helps alleviate that pain plus it cuts quick!!

I love this thing and it's so useful
Great for tight spaces when you can't get your cutters to go all the way around the pipe. And it Always makes a clean cut.
