For heavy-duty installations requiring more than a standard No Hub coupling
More effective joint movement restraint - Stainless steel strap bands are 12.5% thicker than on traditional no hub couplings providing a positive seal when properly torqued to 80 in/lbs
Stronger, more uniform scaling capacity - Axially slotted clamp bands tighten independently to accommodate most any variances in outside diameters of cast iron pipe and fittings being joined
Greater surface load bearing - Wider 304 Series stainless steel shield accommodates additional sealing clamps to provide for greater load bearing contact
1-1/2" - 4" sizes: Four stainless steel bands
5" - 15" sizes: Six stainless steel bands
Higher resistance to shear forces - Rugged construction, excellent sealing properties and the arrangement of intermittent corrugations in the outer stainless steel band provide resistance to shear forces and help alignment while maintaining flexibility
Corrosion resistant - 304 Series stainless steel combined with significant deflection factor makes this coupling highly dependable above and below ground
Safe and easy to install - Flanged gasket helps maintain alignment during installation and tapered ends on shield reduce friction and prevent injury from sharp edges
Versatile - Internal profile of elastomeric sleeve against intermittent corrugation suits specific performance application of non-potable waste systems
This was my first experience with this type coupler. Through some trial and error, I figured out how to more easily install them. Dish detergent helps.
You do need to crank them down several times with a 5/16" socket to get them to snug up. But 4 clamps makes this a great coupler.

Not enough adjustment to allow for real life conditions
The (2) MISSION four band clamps I bought for 4" ABS would barely unwind far enough to allow the rubber to stretch over a repair section. Then, when I set the repair section into the trench, there was not enough slack (threads on the tightening bolt) in the outer stainless steel band to allow me to work the fitting up onto the existing end of the old pipe. Fought with it for two hours and will probably have to buy a slightly longer bolt and alter the clamp. This problem could be solved by a tightening bolt that is 1/2" longer. Probably engineered by some fool who never tested it under real conditions.

I would buy this product again
Great product. I had to return this coupling because the pipe I was working with didn't have enough usable length exposed. I had to use another method. But this coupling with its 4 bands would have been perfect application other wise. No hassle return on this product.

Great product
Very nicely made band. The rubber is very nice quality and the worm gears are so smooth. Definitely worth the price for the quality of these bands

Good Clamp
Solid, easy to use, the four-clamp stainless steel banded coupling allows it to be used underground with no shear due to settling backfill, as required by the IPC code. One clamp does it all, it saves space on the truck.
