A "Must Have" For Any Radiant Heat System!
I ordered a set for all 7 of my Mr. Pex manifolds and love seeing my Supply and Return temps at a glance. They're essential for monitoring the Supply temp to your manifolds and the Return temp leaving them once the Pex has given up the BTU's into your floors, (also some walls and ceilings in my case.) They also help me see how my boiler modulates according to the actual outdoor temp and confirm that my vertical grain oak floors are not being fried to cause warping. Very nice.

Q: How does this thermometer attach? Is it a threaded port or just a strap-on?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffMr. PEX stainless steel manifold sets include wells in the middle of the supply and return manifolds into which these thermometers can be inserted. Note that this only goes for current Mr. PEX stainless steel manifolds, such as part 3230800. The thermometers are not compatible with older Mr. PEX stainless steel manifolds or any of their brass manifolds.
