1-1/2" or 1-1/4" Sump Pump Check Valve

The switch on my sump pump let me down, and the back part of my basement took on an inch of water. I replaced the sump pump, but the threads on the check valve were shot. I scoured the internet and finally SupplyHouse came to the rescue. Having the same check valve made my sump pump swap out a breeze. And BEST of all, SupplyHouse came through with NEXT DAY delivery!!!

i bought these check valves as replacements. they're duplicates of an existing valve in my sump pump piping that failed and needed to be replaced. the failed valve lasted a little less than a year. Both the failed and replacement valves were mounted in a vertical orientation. because of water hammer i was concerned that the new valve would fail in time so it replaced it with a Zoeller quiet valve. i suspect that the quiet valve should last much longer. I'll add that your company was very good to work with. i would certainly look to working with you folks on future needs

I bought this as a backup to the one I have hooked up to my sump pump crock that catches ground water. I had a leak coming from my original and figured I had bought it at one of the big box stores and would just go get some new seals or get a new one. Well, I ran into a brick wall of trying to find one. Also, the other brands were different lengths, causing me to have to slice and dice pipes, under a cement sink, where my crock is located! Not fun, laying on a wet floor. Also, they big box brands didn't have the nut and seal style. They were either PVC glue connections or threaded. So great I was able to get this at Supply House for a backup. Years ago, I got a 2-1/2" galvanized 1-1/4 nipple from your company. My plumbing situation was so tight, between 2 ground water points that were not movable, I couldn't use a 2" or 3", that the big box store carry. Thanks for carrying these, somewhat, odd ball nipples!!!

Used in my installation of sump pump and mounted in vertical position , easy to install and it works fine.

I took out the old, and put in the new. I took a picture of what I had, used google lens, and it took me to the exact part I needed. I odered it, it came fast, swapped it out.
