I hope not
This product was to replace another exact control board, that was installed appt 4years ago. So the jury is still out on this one but so far this new board is working as expected.
Ordering and delivery of this product was excellent.

My elderly friend and neighbor was having problems with his A/C and heat for about 8 months. I told him that he needed to find another HVAC guy cause this guy wasn't getting it done. I told him I'd be happy to take a look at it and check it out. I'm not an HVAC Pro but I do repairs on my own furnace. Was told by a "Pro" that my furnace was shot and too old to get parts for - (B.S.). I did some troubleshooting and ordered the parts I needed...it's been running fine for 8 years now. So much for the "Pros".
My neighbor's problem was an intermittent relay on the furnace control board. I don't have all the high tech tools...just a multi-meter. I used my ears more than the meter. After several minuets of the blower motor running I could here the relay clicking on and off a few times and then the motor shut down. When the motor would cycle back on I'd let it run for a few minuets and then just tap lightly on side of the furnace with my fingers where the control board was mounted. The blower motor relay would start clicking and then shut the motor off.
Pretty simple troubleshooting and verification of the faulty component. And Mr. "Pro" couldn't do this? For the price of another service call I was able to purchase and installed the new control board....problem solved.

Exactly what I needed
My grandmas control board was running even with the thermostat disconnected and error codes kept changing and everything was fine that it said was wrong. I knew it was faulty control board but works great!
