Application
- Clean pad or install new pad before installing Humidi-Pro.
- For best results humidifier should have a daily dump of water from the sump to diminish scale forming minerals.
- Install a new Humidi-Pro before each heating season.
- Operating temperature, min./ max: 40º - 80º F

Great Price for these Filters
These were much cheaper here than another "major" on-line seller.
We have a whole house humidifier, but the water has lots of calcium and would make the filters nasty. Our heating/air service person recommended that a water softener be installed. These Humidi-Treat filters do the job and are easy to switch out.

According to your technical department, this filter is not recommended for use in a hot water line. That warning needs to be written on the product.

Great product, great delivery!
I've used NuCalgon water filters in the supply line for my humidifier for several years. The reduction of calcium, lime and scale makes annual clean up and maintenance easy and quick. I have recommended this product to a number of people.

Added Protection for Your Humidifer
If you have hard water and scaling issues with your humidifer, then the Humidi-Pro filter does an adequate job of eliminating most or all of the excess calcium and other mineral deposits. The unit comes equiped with two brass 1/4 compression filltings for easy installation and seasonal change-outs. I would also note that teflon tape is required for a successful installation of the 1/4" compression fittings, so as to avoid any leaks.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, this comes equipped with a 1/4" John Guest fitting at each end which is compatible with copper, PEX, or CPVC pipe that is 1/4" without any tools or extra fittings.
