Illogical IMHO
Unsure the point of both a humidity sensor AND a motion sensor to turn on the fan. (maybe in case someone forgets to turn it on when they go #2?)
I bought it thinking the _light_ would be on the motion sensor because I guess as a tradesman I am not a product investigator.
In my house, having the motion sensor turn on the fan is eeeeeh, pointless. As in, why did I pay more for a feature that controls the fan?
NOW, I will say every home needs a humidity sensor controlled exhaust fan. And this one has this which is nice.
It's got a big 10 7/8" footprint so you'll be cutting a hole if your retro installing.
Fan is supper quiet. Wiring box is very big (makes it easier) but really ought to be accessed and wired from above.

Fan works well and has been in use for couple of years. Love the motion detector and timer. However, where I located the fan there is no AC, consequently the humidity sensor causes the fan to run constantly in summer. There is no "off" position for the humidity selector.

Install instructions could be a little more thorough but overall a good product. Sill trying to get the humidity sensor set up correctly. Stays on too long I think.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Tom! Panasonic doesn't have a dimmer switch from which is compatible with the FV-0511VQCL1, however they recommend to use the Leviton brand models 6683 or 6684 switches.
