Overview:
The WhisperGreen Select Condensation Sensor Plug 'N Play Module helps control bathroom condensation to prevent mold and mildew. Sensor technology detects relative humidity and temperature to anticipate dew point, automatically turning the fan on to control humidity. The built-in Relative Humidity (RH) sensitivity adjustment enables fine-tuning for moist conditions and for satisfying CALGreen requirements. When the Condensation Sensor is used in conjunction with multi-speed functionality, the fan will ramp up to a high speed when the Condensation Sensor detects moisture in the room. This module also activates a 20-minute delay off timer for the fan.

Random on / off fan times without humidity changes
If you are having fan On / Off at Random times without humidity changes, it's probably the A/C ducts in the room too close to the fan rapidly changing to air temp and Dew Point, that's what these sensors look for. I was able to move the humidity sensor Knob past the 80% stop mark to around 90% by opening the case where the knob turns. There is a plastic stop that can be either cut off or you can turn the knob past the stop to get to 90% then snap the cover back it place over the knob. By doing this, it makes the sensor less sensitive and it works great now. Shower starts, fans goes on, 20 minutes later it automatically turns off. I tried everything everything else, this finally worked for me.

Too sensitive
I turned sensitivity all way down and still runs all the time in summer. For winter it is ok as the air is lot drier in the house.

Over sensitive?
Using the factory setting resulted in running for 2 days after my first shower! I reset it nearly all the way up and it now runs for an hour or so before shutting off. Yesterday was a rainy one and the fan started on its own and ran all day. I am about to turn it to the least sensitive setting now. I hope this works. It is late fall and I worry about how this will work in the hot and humid days of summer.

Works for me, but can be touchy to set
Module works for us, but need to experiment on getting setting just right. Also, if house left open to outdoor air, the humidity may trigger fan to run.

Keep fan running all the time
This using was working fine while the air was quite dry (under 40% most of the time)and around July outdoor humidity/temperature went waay up (this is north NJ). Despite AC keeping indorr humidity around 50-60% the fan would keep running even 6 hours of noone entering bathroom. Not only that would use electricity on the fan, it would suck outdoor air in thus increasing the AC cost. The unit was adjusted to maximum humidity. I ended up getting motion control and will probably return this unit back (thank you SupplyHouse for generous return policy).

Tricky to get right, really nice now that it's working!
First one was bad, but SupplyHouse swapped it promptly. Support tech was helpful in diagnosing the issue.
Second issue is that the instructions don't show that the unit is adjustable for humidity level, and that's important. Remove the one screw and pop open the top and there's a control for 35%-80% relative humidity. I had to turn mine up a bit from the default setting to keep it from coming on at times when the bathroom wasn't in use at all.
