1/2" Internal Nipple Wrench

I used the wrench to remove a broken 1/2" black steel nipple from an elbow but the knurl was not sharp/deep enough to grip the inside of the nipple without using a lot of torque to tighten the tool and expand the knurled sections. Overall I worried that the tool would break before I was able to get the nipple out. See review of the 3/4" tool for more information.

I had a leaky nipple stuck in the wall behind my showerhead. My house has the original 80+ year old ceramic tile shower and no access behind it. I didnt want to have to cut the wall out and even asked a few plumbers if they knew of a tool to get the job done, they all said "cut the wall." This little gem got the job done with out any trouble, might never use it again but it was wort every penny and then some. Glad I found it on your site.

Great for corroded nipples and also installing chromed nipples. Be aware that this tool can deliver enough internal force to distort a brass nipple. Don't over-tighten the tool.

The right tool for the job. Way better than using a standard EZ-Out.

This did not work for me. The expandable finger jaws bent over upon tightening, and would not do the job. Still had to get the plumber out and open the wall to repair broken off shower arm.

This worked when all other internal pipe wrenches required more pipe length than I had. Works like a charm. Thanks!
