Works... and isn't a mower risk for low level applications
Tested the amont of flotation in sink filled with water...seems like it should "lift" as exepected when in use. Mine is located at grade/grass level and was fearful rotary mower suction may "lift" center float section as it rides over it....no worries....it stays in place.
