Better than original thermostatic controller
Replaced a failed controller on a baseboard electric heater that had a separate thermocouple connected to it. This replacement has internal temperature control and variable knob settings. Perfect fit, easy install with two wire nut connections. Works great to control room temperature to desired level. Would rate a 5 except don't know about longevity- time will tell.
