The AG-3150E electronic water sensing system is the only condensate sensor that plugs into the auxiliary drain port of the primary pan & qualifies as an internal primary pan sensor, monitoring condensate directly inside of the primary drain pan. The AG-3150E is a high-amperage, solid-state switch with no moving parts to break down or become clogged. The low profile design makes it easy to install & doesn't interfere with drain lines coming from the HVAC unit.

This device reminded me of the importance of annual maintena
I neglected the annual maintenance this year and bio slime built up in my air handler's P-trap causing the unit to not run until the problem was rectified and the pan was drained. Fortunately, I am a maintenance man and investigated the problem successfully. If I had no technical aptitude, I would have had to call someone to blow out the drain's P-trap and pay a couple hundred bucks for the service.

I will not buy this product again!
I have received two of these devices from SupplyHouse.com and they won't work (they kindly accepted the first one back). I am fairly handy with installations of this type and have wired in the device and can even ohm out the contact with those two wires disconnected from the circuit and can see them open and close upon activating and resetting the device. Wire them back in the circuit and trip the device but the thermostat continues to remain powered up. I attempted calling the tech dept of the manufacturer (Rectorseal) and was told that since I was a end user and not a "qualified" HVAC installer they could not help me. Thanks for nothing Rectorseal! I do however appreciate the service that Supply House provided.
