Handful of DOAs
We install these with every install and a lot of service/maintenance calls. Great trip device and cleanout but we have a lot that are defective out of the box. Either blowing the 3amp fuse or the switch does not open when the float rises.
I would recommend but you do need to verify that it is working correctly

Nice addition
I used this device for an overflow safety switch. It will shut the A/C off in the event of the main drain getting stopped up and the safety pan filling to a specified level.
