Flared connections fitted with Flaretite Seals are today’s answer to low cost, high integrity, “Zero-Leak” fittings, while complying with new international standards. This unique seal may be fitted to 45° SAE, refrigeration and gas fittings. The introduction of the Flaretite Seal eliminates the weakness in the original flare design.

Easy to use
I've only used these on I mini split system so far. They worked well and were easy to use on 1/4" & 3/8" lines.

Avoid using
Coating will come off copper and clog mini split strainers. Don't use anything on you flare. Good clean flare and proper torque specs.
