Works as expected
The last Honeywell 70va transformer blew it's internal fuse when I accidentally shorted while replacing a thermostat without shutting off the power. They designed it so that it's extremely difficult to get at the first to replace. Love that this version has a resettable breaker

Solid product - Instructions are lacking
The product is solid but instructions are lacking. Would not recommend for the novice do it yourself-er. I used this to replace the transformers for a 4 TACO Valve Zoned hot water system. It talks about a mounting plate but I couldn't find one online or at the hardware store. I ended up mounting through the side of the electrical box. This worked well and the wires are contained in the box per code with the threaded nipple acting as the ground to the metal box. Pay close attention to the instructions regarding the color of the wires, as it works with different voltages.

One part, covers multiple units
We use this in any control system requiring 24 vac control voltage on site. The multi-voltage line connection and compact size allows it to be utilized in many different brands of equipment regardless of brand (HVAC and Security alarm systems. The reset-able circuit breaker is handy when controls short circuit, keeping the transformer from being damaged. If space is at a premium in your stockroom or field truck (and we know it is), This is one item you want to have in it.

Q: Is the output of this transformer rated at 75 VA or 50 VA ? The specifications give 75 VA at one place, and 50 VA at another place. Which is it ?
