Not to much to say about the part other then it is working properly and way easy to install. I am more impressed with how quick it arrived .

Control temperature on a commercial hot water storage tank in a boiler application. This was a direct (exact) replacement for the previous Honeywell aquastat. Identical wiring, fasteners, and settings. Great transaction, fast and well packed shipping. Professional company. A+

The outer package arrived half smashed and open on top. Very little inert material inside to keep item from moving around and a poor taping job. Luckily the item inside was not damaged.

This is a bulletproof mechanical aquastat. It has an adjustable setpoint temperature and an adjustable differential. It needs to go into an existing thermowell. Dob the bulb with heat conductive compound before inserting it into the well. This particular model has a 3" capillary tube - if you don't need all of it, you can snake the excess into the aquastat's case. I believe there are other models with different capillary tube lengths. All hot-water boilers need a second high-limit aquastat for safety. My L4006H is a strap-on model - you strap it on the outside of the supply pipe from the boiler. When it trips, it locks out until you reset it manually. In addition, all boilers need a low-water cutoff - older installations without them should have one added. Mine is a GuardDog, FB-24E. It has a 3/4" male pipe connection that threads into a tee that you would add to the boiler supply or return piping, above the top elevation of the boiler.
