Features

- Provide multizone control by using a separate circulator and R845 Relay for each zone.
- Include diaphragm powerhead and Micro Switch assembly that respond to temperature changes in boiler water.
- Mount directly to boiler.
- Select models include large transformers and extra terminals for supplying power to low voltage zone valves.
- Require 24 Vac thermostat with heat anticipator set at 0.2 A (plus current draw of gas valve on L8124E).

The product functions well, but has a limited life of about three years. Needs better electronic switches.

4th one I bought from you. the others were Honeywell though. It doen't auto cycle on and the solenoid buzzes and is loud. I get up to cycle the power to invoke furnace operation. Did I get a bad one? I understand Honeywell does not make these anymore.

Perfect fit for my boiler
This product was use for my oil heating boiler which needed a new aquastat and the fit was right on. Once you call the nice customer service number and give your older aquastat model number they will match it up to the correct model that you need and all wires match perfectly. Thanks for the great service 👍

Exact swap for discontinued model
Quick and easy to install. Relay controlling the Circulator to start on the discontinued model failed. It would energize and turn on the Circulator pump intermittently for the first day before failing completely the next. Shipping was fast (ordered during Thanksgiving time and arrived with in 3 days even with the Holiday).

Aquastat is working perfectly
Shipping box was banged up a bit and capillary tubing to the sensor bulb was scratched as a result. But no problems in performance at all. Very happy with how it functions, and oil boiler is working as designed.

Electronic versions of the Honeywell L8124C triple aquastat include the Honeywell L7224 and the Hydrolevel Hydrostat 3150. If you want to stick with a mechanical type aquastat, the L8124 is the best. Paul

Q: I have a Honeywell aquastat model L8124A 1015. It is mounted horizontal. The system is 15 years old and the controller needs to be replaced. Can the "A" be used horizontal or vertical or did they install the wrong one?
