Compatibility & Applications:
- Intended for use on compatible Resideo Braukmann PV SuperVent models that specify PV-020RP as the correct vent top replacement
- Used in closed-loop hydronic heating and cooling systems where automatic air elimination is required
- Suitable for residential and light commercial hydronic systems when the vent mechanism has become fouled or inoperative while the body remains serviceable
Installation & Operation Notes:
- Isolate the SuperVent from system pressure where possible and confirm that temperature and pressure are within safe limits before servicing
- Follow Resideo Braukmann instructions for removing the old vent top from the SuperVent body
- Install the PV-020RP vent top on the existing body, ensuring threads are clean and sealing surfaces are properly engaged
- Orient the 90 degree outlet in the desired direction and tighten according to manufacturer guidance
- After installation, restore system operation and verify that air is being released and that no leakage occurs at the vent connection
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Inspect the vent periodically for signs of seepage, mineral buildup, or blockage at the outlet
- Replace the vent top if air elimination is inconsistent, if the float mechanism sticks, or if leakage persists after cleaning
- Maintain system water quality and follow recommended treatment practices to reduce scaling that can affect vent performance

Excellent - SuperVent Top Replacement
After 6 yrs the original float in my SuperVent filled with stress cracks rendering the vent useless. It actually was allowing air to get into my system. After 1-1/2 yrs of bleeding the system I bought this vent top replacement and to my amazement after 2 days the vent bled all the air out of the system and it has been air free since. I wish I knew they sold this rebuild part sooner. It took me 2 min. to replace. Just make sure to shut all valves on your hotwater heating system so as to isolate the supervent, remember, the system is under pressure. Like I said it took two min. and problem solved.

The one I had didn't work and the replacement was shipped broken, it looks like it was designed by a 3rd grader.

I now keep this item in my home inventory
Had 1 zone that would provide baseboard heat for 2 hours, then stop. Must've drained that zone 4-5 times and this pattern continued. I finally called in an expert. He thought my recirculating pump was not robust enough to deliver hot water from my basement boiler to the 2nd floor and run through a long loop upstairs. I replace the Taco and then 2 more times. Didn't work. I suggested that perhaps the air eliminator was faulty. He disagreed. I replaced the top end of the Honeywell SuperVent and tons of air emerged. No more problems whatsoever. I not only purchased a 2nd Top but also an entirely new SuperVent. "Be Prepared"

Easy swap out
After 7 years on my high efficient heating system I could no longer bleed off the last bits of air in my system. Found this part was readily available and inexpensive right from supply house. Took 10 minutes to drain system down. 5 minutes to swap out part. Refill system and beed off air. Hydronic system in the house has been silent and free of air since. As always, Supply House for the WIN !!!

Replacement part for the Honeywell air eliminators
Picked up this part for the Honeywell air eliminator that was failing. Typically this part fails more in old cast iron hydronic systems as they normally have more iron oxide (rust) when compared to newer high efficiency systems.
The fix was simple and easy, so I ordered several more. Thanks team

I'm stuck with this air vent
This air vent is welded in and it's too hard to change the whole unit to a different type. I replaced the float kit ever winter at gstartup. It doesn't vent the air well. I have a lot of trouble with air in the system.
Also the float kit doesn't last the full winter season with out leaking.

Q: I have a Honeywell Sparco Powervert installed in my system. The data sheet that came with the vent is dated as follows: EFFECTIVE May 1, 2000 supercedes August 1999. Will this PV Supervent Vent top Replacement (new style 90 degree) fit on my current vent. My vent is leaking and I need a solution ASAP
