I recently purchased the Caleffi cover & float assembly (supply house SKU:
F39807) to repair my Bell & Gossett (B&G) EASB-JR air separator, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the result.
This replacement part ended up saving me roughly $700 to $1,000, which is a huge win. What really stood out is how DIY-friendly the Caleffi assembly is, even for someone without much hands-on experience. The design is straightforward, and installation was much easier than I expected. Surprised B&G doesn't sell one considering this is available & works well.
I also had a great experience ordering from Supply House. They had the item in stock, communicated clearly throughout the process, and it arrived within just a few days, exactly as promised.
Overall, this was a cost-effective, hassle-free repair thanks to a well-designed product and excellent supplier support. Highly recommend to anyone looking to avoid a full replacement or expensive service call!

Miserable 3 Year Lifespan
Im getting 3-3.5 years out of these simply because they start leaking at the valve. Such a seemingly easy design to adjust. And cost keeps going up for the same unreliability (over $50 now). In hindsight, I'd have changed to a better vent setup if I knew how many of these i would have to purchase.

Works with Bell & Gossett (B&G) EASB-JR
I also want to thank prior reviewers. B&G does not offer a similar replacement kit. So when my B&G float and cover assembly failed after 10 years, I spotted the reviews here and gave this part a shot. I confirm this Caleffi F39807 is compatible with the B&G EASB-JR . Wow was I happy.
To credit of B&G, I contacted their Customer Service, and they called me back. The rep was super helpful and understood my situation, where I wanted to avoid the labor of re-piping an entirely new unit. The solution offered by B&G rep was to buy a new unit (least expensive one available), and then transfer the cap and float assembly to the existing piped in unit. A fair solution given the circumstance, but I'm clearly happier having found this Caleffi alternative.
