Product seemed to fit and work
Sadly, after trying the new thermostat, we determined that the tank also had a leak. Indirectly, it is likely that moisture from the bottom of the tank caused the failure of the original thermostat. So, we replaced the whole tank and now the thermostat we bought is surplus.
This part took 2 days to ship, even though we had paid for overnight shipping. SupplyHouse said they would reverse the extra shipping cost, but because of a weekend, the delay cost us 2 days extra without hot water.

I bought the valve replaced it it worked great for just over
3 months. The gas valve stopped working contacted customer service verified that I ordered the correct replacement. There's nothing they can do I need to contact manufacture for replacement

I would buy this again, but with some information included..
Valve worked great, once I found out how to reset a hard fault. NO information, no paperwork nothing came with the valve.

Just what the doctor ordered
"How to" videos I watched showed the tech working "on the fly", while the tank poured water from the thermostat hole. The thermostat on this tank stays in place, and has a 3-wire connector, to the solenoid valve and controller. After removing all connections, simply insert the supplied tool against the plastic fingers, and slide the controller up and off the thermostat. Slide the new controller over the thermostat, until it clicks, then reconnect everything. Not messy at all.

The replacement works!!
It's not the gas valve... it's the company that I chose to Supply my need. Supply House once again came through, even when the part was faulty. I ordered a brand new gas valve only to discover that it didn't work when I installed it. The customer service was awesome and the replacement part was on the was the same day!! Thanks Supply House!!!!
