Black Controller

I use this new controller with my new Rinnai tankless hot water heater. The electrical connections were easy inside my bathroom cabinet, as well as inside the tankless. You have to use the provided white plug, at least with my new Rinnai unit. All in all, a great product at a good price. Supply House was a great company with which to do business.

My Rinnai tankless was installed when the house was built in 2014. The temp controller is located in the garage, tankless unit outside. One day we noticed the water being only lukewarm. Found controller set to 104. We set it at 120. Tried to reset it but controller didn't take. Power cycle didn't help and controller didn't display any fault codes. Eventually found that the controller worked when the garage was cool, below 70 or so, didn't when it got warm. Ordered the new one, had same 2 wires so install was simple. New controller works perfectly and looks a lot more modern.

Had to replace the controller for the tankless and the exact model was discontinued. Found the replacement at SupplyHouse and ordered. Easy to navigate the ordering process and the shipping was fast. Installed and works great, will order again.
