The Saniflo SI200184 Membrane is a direct-fit oval rubber diaphragm designed to seal and protect the pressure chamber and internal microswitch in Saniflo macerating toilet and gray-water pump systems. As wastewater fills the chamber, this flexible membrane rises to trip the microswitch and start the pump, then returns to its resting position to stop the motor once the discharge is complete. Without a properly functioning membrane, the pump can fail to activate or run continuously, leading to clogs or overflows.
Material: Molded flexible rubber, engineered to maintain a watertight barrier around the pressure switch assembly
Function: Converts rising water pressure into microswitch activation, automatically controlling pump on/off cycles for reliable flushing and drainage
Compatibility: Fits most SFA Saniflo upflush toilet and pump models-including Saniplus; Sanipro XR/Plus; Sanitop; Sanipack; Saniaccess 2/3; Sanishower; Sanivite-that use a membrane-microswitch mechanism
Maintenance: Annual descaling with Saniflo Descaler solution (Part #052) is recommended to remove limescale without damaging the rubber; avoid bleach or harsh chemical cleaners that can stiffen or degrade the membrane
Reliability: Prevents liquid intrusion into the switch compartment, reducing the risk of false triggering, continuous running, or pump failure due to membrane wear or hardening
