Also good for New Yorker & V8H boilers
Works well to brush down New Yorker & Burnham V8H boilers, and their derivatives/clones. Spiral is quite flexible and makes the job easy. Never twist counter-clockwise when pulling out from between boiler sections, would be easy to unwrap the spiral and lose the bristles.

Different stiffness of bristles and arms. Works great for boiler cleaning and flexible enough to go around corners in a heat exchanger.

My heat exchanger was pretty dirty. The brush got into all areas to clean it out. The brush was basically a one use brush as has not much left to it though for the price one time was worth it.

Novice home handyman.
I recently had to fire my furnace repair tech. After numerous repair attempts for same problem and a lot of wasted money I decided to do it myself. After watching a semesters worth of YouTube videos booted him and dug in. The nozzles and electrodes were positioned too far in, there was air in the fuel line, and lack of proper cleaning let the 2 most outside air channels clog up solid with soot and solid matter. I found your site and ordered the necessary tools, (mainly SOOT SAW) AND FINALLY cleaned them out. The saw and brushes worked flawlessly. Brushes and saw were flexible enough yet strong enough to get everything out.
