Didn't want to cut bolts so I ordered these!
I had my toilet reset after getting new flooring installed and the bolts were never cut. When I called a plumber to cut them he said don't because it could cause the toilet to leak. I looked at ugly 2" long bolts for over a year before finding these caps. They worked perfectly and look almost as normal as the caps for cut bolts. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Good idea. Bad execution.
These have threads to screw on but seem to be made to snap on or screw on. The caps do not engage the threads enough and you can never snug them up. Not even a little. They also pop off at the slightest bump. They need to be made to snap on or screw on, not both.
It is pretty straightforward which way the bottom circle plate gets installed but there is nothing clear on the package to tell you for sure. Pics on supplyhouse.com are incorrect for the direction of the bottom circle plate. The side with the tick mark should be mounted down towards the toilet.

Screw them on, don't snap them on
I bought a bunch of these because I always liked the deep Kohler caps that didn't need to have the bolt cut off. I used the first set on my own commode that needed a new wax ring. When I went to snap it on like I have done for all other caps, it split up the side. I was disappointed. On the next one for a client I looked at it a little closer still a little perplexed at the thick base washer. Only then did I realize that these caps screw on rather than snap on! Best cap that I have seen.

The right size cap
What I liked about these caps is that they are extra-large. This size allowed the cap to fit over a very large bolt from the toilet. Most standard toilet bowl caps cannot fit over this large bolt. Looks like cap this applies to a closet, but it works very well as a toilet cap. The color is great and blends in well with the white porcelain toilet. The price is very reasonable as well. Very satisfied with this small dollar purchase.

Fits over a tall screw
The covers that came with our new toilet were not long enough to cover the screws and the screws were too hard to cut. I found these covers online and they fit perfectly.
