A perfect fitting to transition from a PVC service
line to copper. Solder with PVC insert facing
downward, apply torch to female fitting, and
use a heat blocking agent to prevent damage.
CAUTION: Do Not Cut This Fitting
Cutting this fitting voids warranty
Do Not allow PVC portion of fitting to be heated.
Do Not exceed 140°F. Excessive heat can
damage the PVC insert and internal o-ring.
Whenever possible, solder with PVC socket facing
downward. Plug PVC socket to prevent chimney effect.
Apply torch to female fi tting - not the adapter
Use a commercial heat blocking agent between solder
joint and PVC joint, and perform solder joints at minimum distance of 18" from 1" & 1-1/4" PVC Socket
