Excellent Extension For Thick Walls.
I ordered the Ox Bow Frame Extension in case I decided to install the Box in another location. The Extension would work nicely if required in a Box installation.

Hats off to Sioux Chief, please.
Used extensions to recess Ox Box mounting ears, straps, and other hardware behind the plane of the wall studs so that the wallboard fits flush. Provided a very neat installation ~ even in a utility room. Bonus: the Ox Box debris shield fits the extension frame. Took a little more time to use but, in my view, well worth the effort.
