Works like a charm
Bought a new fridge and never had a water line for the old one. This was easy to install but you will need access to haul a waterline to the box.
You will also need to patch up the whole and space around the box, doesn't need to perfect since the fridge covers it and the ice maker box also comes with an plate cover.
Unlike other ice maker boxes where you here the water pressure whenever the fridge uses the water line for dispensing water or making ice, this one is silent.

Good Ice Maker Box
Purchased and installed for my fridge waterline myself. Great quality and no leaks from the first connection (my first PEX install!). Water hammer arrestor is required in some cities codes now, so its great to have this option and the quality of this box is better than what you can get at the box stores. Only complaint would be that the box is a little flimsy. I installed directly to stud and the side not attached to the stub moves a bit too much for my taste. After finishing the wall around it (comes with an awesome throw away cover to protect during finishing), it moved just a bit in the wall when opening and closing the valve. Otherwise a great product that I couldn't find locally.
