Just what I needed
I got it to make a transition from schedule 80 to a brass hose bib for a water tank that I am hooking a garden hose to and it worked perfectly. A little pricey but other distributors would only sell in bulk amounts for slightly less. I would buy it again.

I will never buy this Bushing again
I used two of these bushings on a high flow cartridge filter to reduce from 1" to 1/2" to accommodate the current plumbing. They both failed, I had inserted a 1/2" sharkbite fitting into both and left the job with everything dry. A week later the home owner called to alert me to a leak which I found was from a split in the bushing. I fixed it with a bushing from a different source and maker, everything was fine. Got a call yesterday that the other side of the filter was leaking, went today to find it was the other bushing with the split in the exact place. I am ordering brass bushings to ensure this doesn't happen again. I don't know if the bushings were from a bad run or if they are just junk but I'll never buy them again.

Great Quality Spears Fittings
Great product. Spears makes quality fittings. My only issue is these were not included in my shipment as ordered. Delayed my project another 4 days. Supply House is usually great, but not this time. They forgot to put them in my package.
