    Great product. Finally...no noise!

I had been having problems with my heating system for years with bubbling, gurgling, swishing and everything else associated with air in the pipes. After having a new boiler installed and having the same issue with my pipes a few days later, I decided to install a vertical Spirovent (on the pipe immediately exiting from my boiler) after reading that others had success with it. I am NOT a plumbing expert. In fact, I'm barely a handyman. But this was easy to install...even for me!...with the additional purchase of a couple of Shark Bite 1" male threaded connectors. Added water back into the system and fired up the boiler. As soon as the water started circulating, I could actually hear the air being expelled from the system. Within fifteen minutes or so, that was it. No more air. The bubbling, swishing or gurgling were gone. After 20 years, I have a silent heating system. I'd recommend the Spirovent Air Eliminator to anyone looking to get the air out of their heating system. Fantastic product. Easy to install. Does exactly what it promises. Worth every penny. Buy it.

    Vertical Spirovent Jr.

This product was perfect for this heating system. I always use Spirovent Jr. on all my boiler installations. This is the first vertical. So far so good.

    Solved the Problem

Used this product on the water line coming out of the water heater because we kept getting a lot of air. No matter what suggestions we tried after a couple days the air would be back. After calling a local pump and plumbing supplier, they suggested a spirovent. I did some research, my husband called and talked to Supply House and I ordered the product. It turned out to be exactly what we needed. We haven't had any problems with air in the line since it was installed.

    I would buy this again.

Worked great! OMG I installed this, when refilling the boiler you could hear the air coming out of the Spirovent. We moved into this house before the heating season and have had problems from the beginning with the boiler. I have bled it and bled it some more and still after a few weeks more hammering of the pipes. I put the Spirovent in, as I said you could hear he air coming out of it as I was filling the boiler, bled it again and no hammering! It has been a couple of weeks and still good to go. This is a older system. Somewhere in the late 50s early 60s. I ordered the wrong size at first. I thought my tubing was 1", turned out it was 1 1/4. No problems with the return.

    Amazing Air Elimination

I have a 5 zone system with mixed high-temp old baseboard and low-temp radiant floor zones. Bleeding the system takes some time, and it's never great because I don't have automatic or manual bleeds anywhere else in the system. There is always some residual air. I installed the eliminator only 5 inches from the inlet of my pump (1-in pipe), and it works amazing. My pump happens to be on the return side of the boiler, pumping into the boiler. My expansion tank is on the supply side of the boiler. So, it's not a modern/ideal setup and this eliminator still works great. I have provided photos that hopefully answer a question that I had when looking at this product. Rest easy that 100% of the water moves through the air scrubbing screen because there is a baffle inside the Spirovent that forces ALL of the flow of water through the vent head. No water is able to bypass the vent head even though this is a vertical configuration. I couldn't find a picture showing this before I bought it, so I took a gamble. The gamble paid off.

    Great Air Removal Solution!

Within a short time this product removed the annoying air pockets within my heating zones. Per the manufacturer's instructions, it needs to be installed at either the point of lowest pressure (before circulator pump) or the point of highest temparature (where heated water leaves the boiler). It is a simple and effective solution.

    A air bleeding wonder

My dad, a plumber for 30 years, made fun of me when we installed this on a 100 year old 9 radiator hot water system at my home. He isn't making fun anymore. Before, I needed to do frequent air bleeds and I could hear the gurgling all the time. Since installing this and Watts valves on all the radiators, I have have zero air in system after an initial bleed. I've checked repeatedly over several seasons. No air, just water. Perfect.
