This is a very well-made hunk of brass that seems like it will last forever. So far, does a good job of bleeding air and collecting gunk. What more could one ask for?

Supply house send me the wrong type, but they corrected it the next day. Great service! Air eliminator is awesome. Well-made product! It's built like a tank.

Disclaimer: In the 2020 virus year I've decided to be Red Green or Tim Allen when it comes to home projects and in this time my boiler has got my attention. I'm find with spending money on this since it falls into that hobby category. Your mileage may vary. Also that I bought only the vertical air eliminator, and not the combined one. Doing it again, and maybe this was new (or I didn't see it) I would get the combined one. The review doesn't change. Just focusing on the air side for a second, this does a few things. First is that if for any reason the boiler side (sorry I'm not a plumber) needs to be shut off and drained this makes filling it super easy and allows most of the air to be removed/purged at filling. This alone makes it worth it. Second, it seems to remove the excess air and my system is quite a bit quieter than it used to be - not running around bleeding radiators that often makes this worthwhile. On the dirt side, especially if a vertical pipe is needed, then it's best to get it all together. This either wasn't available when I bought my air eliminator, or I didn't see it, but this is really the route to go.
