Description

This thermostat has built-in Ground Fault Protection for your safety and is fit for use in the US and Canada according to ETL to UL standards. The thermostat senses the floor temperature via a 15-foot Floor Sensor Wire which is included. In most areas, you don't even need another GFCI circuit. Enjoy the sleek design of the backlit display with the programming buttons simply hidden behind a single door.

SunStat PRO is a Dual Voltage thermostat which means it's suitable for 120v or 240v and you don't have to worry about its compatibility with your floor heating system.

I actually keep mine on 82 degrees. It's the only heat source in my powder room. Hope this helps. Mike

The best is relative to personal preference.  I think the manual said 70/79.  But because I'm cheap mine is set for 68/74.  And at about $6 a month, I'm happy and best of all my wife is happy.  Good luck.        dale

When a relay in the thermostat "makes," it will cause a clicking sound.

Q: I have a programmable Sunstat Pro Thermostat and heating system but it has been throwing the breaker. It will stay on about 15 or 20 minutes and then kick the breaker off. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Should I contact the electrician.

It sounds to us like a wiring issue. Either the thermostat is wired incorrectly or there is a short in the wire.

At 120V, you can use up to 150 square feet of mat; at 240V, you can use 300 square feet.

The floor sensor is not included and must be purchased separately. The floor sensor is SKU: 500110.
