Original part arrived broken. They quickly sent information to return the item. They also shipped a replacement part asap.

The pump to my hot water tank had stopped working causing my condensing boiler to overwork. I ordered a new one from Supply House. They had the best price and the service was very good. I received the pump and found it had a new bolts and an o-ring. I had to reuse the old o-ring because the new one did not fit, it was too large. Be prepared to order an extra o-ring with the pump. These are not readily available at box stores nor even a good hardware store.

The Taco cartridges appear to last ~10 years before making noise to signal some kind of wear-failure in the cartridge. Replacing the cartridge is easy and quick which is good for a part that needs occasional replacement. I've now replaced the cartridges in 3 of the 4 Taco pumps in my system starting when the system was 10 years old. It is now 12 years old.

I had a noisy pump. Actually, I found a pebble in the old impeller which is probably what made it go south. The new one is very quiet like they're supposed to be. Supplyhouse.com had the best price and quick shipping.

The replacement cartridge was easy to install. The boiler pumps now run smooth and quiet.

My circulator pump on my furnace began to make a loud, humming noise. I called my plumber and he recommended replacing the whole unit and gave me a quote of over $400! I began to research Taco pumps and found that you can replace the cartridge. Thanks to another review I took a chance and purchased just the cartridge. I drained the water in the system and then replaced the cartridge in about 10 minutes. Refilled the system and primed the pump head. Kicked on the furnace and voila, no humming! The only issue was that the new gasket did not fit the housing so I had to reuse the old gasket. no big deal as the old gasket was still in great condition. This DYI fix saved me over $300!
