A nice step up from a standard relay box
I replaced a standard Taco relay box that controls the circulator pump and boiler in my one zone radiant-floor (32'x48' concrete slab).
I wanted the 2-minute "purge" function that this offers -- with my old relay box, the instant the boiler turned off, so did the main circulator loop... so the pipes in the boiler loop would get really hot with nothing pulling heat out of them
With this box, the boiler turns off 2 minutes before the floor loop does, so everything cools down to room temp when heat is no longer called for.
Visually, this box looks nicer than the old metal relay box... this has a nice plastic housing with the indicator lights on the front.
Installation was easy and straightforward.
